This quest requires you to go pick locks to retrieve a [Certificate of Thievery]. The location of the chests are almost directly east of Lakeshire. Progression. Varies by race ( [16] SI:7) [16] Redridge Rendezvous [20] Alther''s Mill; Notes. The main goal of this quest is to train up lockpicking during the quest. The chests respawn rapidly.
Once inside the mill, I was never attacked and was able to focus on just lockpicking. By standing in location on the screenshot, I was able to pick 4 lockboxes without having to move which was nice. This was especially handy around level 65, which is when the lockboxes went green, because from then on it took multiple boxes to level up.
